Opera Ensemble Presents: Trouble in Tahiti
The PFW Opera Ensemble performs Leonard Bernstein’s one-act opera, featuring an English libretto by the composer. First performed in 1952, this dark drama is loosely based on the tumultuous relationship of Bernstein’s own parents, and the loneliness and resentment that can build within a family when adults forget how to communicate compassionately.
