Jean’s morning at a cozy cafe goes awry when she realizes the stranger at the table next to hers is dead - and someone should probably answer his cell phone. Enchanted by the look on his handsome face, Jean decides to keep (and keep answering) the phone, becoming comically entangled in the messy lives of the loved ones he left behind. This darkly cozy comedy by Pulitzer Prize finalist Sarah Ruhl is about memory, imagination, and the importance of connection in an overstimulating world.
